The Department of Sociology hosts an annual Graduation Ceremony for all graduating sociology majors and their guests. Immediately following the University-wide commencement at Wallace Wade, boxed lunches and group seating will be available at The Landing in the Bryan Center. Doors to Griffith Film Theater, located near The Landing, will open at 12:15 for the 1 pm ceremony.
Diplomas will be at the ceremony for students’ first majors. Students who plan to attend their second or inter-departmental major ceremony should make arrangements with both departments ahead of time for diploma pickup.
