You’re almost there!

Congratulations!  Duke has a lot planned for you and your guests during Commencement Weekend. If you have already applied to graduate with your school or department, here are some of the next steps you should take:

Plan your weekend

Check out Plan Your Weekend for ideas on what to do when your family and guests arrive.

Know where to get your diploma

Find your school or department and check out what events they are hosting throughout the weekend.

RSVP for Commencement & Order Apparel

Register for the university-wide commencement ceremony.
The deadline to order apparel is Monday, March 19, 2018.

Monday, April 30 – Saturday, May 5 9 AM – 5 PM
Sunday, May 6 CLOSED
Monday, May 7 – Saturday, May 12 9 AM – 5 PM

You may arrange for someone else to pick up your apparel, but they must have your payment and know your sizes. Payment for all apparel must be made when it is picked up from the Bryan Center (Brown Art Gallery). Credit cards, FLEX cards, cash and personal checks are accepted.

Register for Baccalaureate & Secure Tickets

Students may reserve up to four tickets for their Baccalaureate service. Registration for this will open during the spring semester 2018.

Pick Up your Class Gift

The Duke Alumni Association will distribute class gifts the week of graduation. Please check back for update dates and times.

Know Where To Be on Commencement Day

All degree candidates should report to the processional line-up located in the Pascal Field House no later than 8:15 AM.
More detailed instructions will be emailed at a later date in the Spring.
