2020 Commencement Speaker

Actor-Comedian Ken Jeong

Actor, Comedian and Duke Alum, Ken Jeong, will deliver Duke University’s commencement address on Sunday, September 26, 2021.  (The ceremony was originally scheduled for May 10, 2020.)

Jeong received a bachelor’s degree from Duke in 1990, earned his Medical Degree at the University of North Carolina, and worked as a physician for years before a small role on “The Office” launched his acting career. He has performed in dozens of film and television roles, including “Community” and “The Hangover” film series. Today Jeong is a popular judge on the TV show “The Masked Singer.”
